“Chrome and Clear Clouds”

Artist: Aidan Curran
Neuroscience Collaborator: Lyle Muller

Abstract

“Chrome and Clear Clouds” explores the concept of prime numbers, specifically the visualization of them through Ulam Spirals. The work looks at the patterns present in numbers in an effort to explore the underlying systems that dictate the natural world. Intended to be secured above a central space, the work serves as a floating disk of mathematical design, highlighting the core position math has within our lives.
